The 10U Hurricanes had a great weekend hosting a four-team tournament at Creekside. The girls played hard and had a ton of fun in the beautiful weather playing some ball! They even got a fun walk-off win!
The games were a great way for the team to get in needed reps and experiences. We used the weekend as an opportunity to get several of their first full innings on the mound of their travel ball careers.
And no team was as loud or had as much fun as the 10u Hurricanes, except for maybe the 12U Canes who came and cheered on for the walk-off!
Some notable highlights:
Jade pitched lights out generally and sealed a win
Ayla, Kenzie, and Emmy got their first full innings on the mound of their travel careers and did awesome
Anna D, in addition to pitching great, had her first big hit of the season, a monster shot to the outfield — she was due after several great at bats
Molly and Anna F played great defense at second base and first base respectfully
Riley, PJ, Anna F, and Brinley played really good behind the plate
Adela had some awesome at bats
Lily was a swiss army knife and was able to play at least four positions on the day! (Or 5?)
