Congratulations to the Hurricanes 12u for winning the Vandercook Lake tournament in Jackson this weekend, going undefeated through six games.
Kate Paulowicz was the team MVP on the weekend, pitching two complete nail-biter games against a strong Vikings team and sacrificing in a late game RBI during the championship game that caused the dugout to erupt.
Lots of team highlights, but the highlight was the team. These Canes poured on the energy, supported each other, and didn’t let the occasional bump get them down. Now they’ve got hardware and sunburns to show from a great weekend of ball!
