10U Hurricanes won the Renegades Classic this weekend. The girls won five out of six games. Everyone contributed to the win. The team scored 66 runs in 6 games! The pitchers came to play and struck out 50% of the batter’s faced in 21 combined innings. Offensive highlights include a home run by Emma S to help push us ahead in a close semifinal game. Ady S had a team-high 8 hits. Mack V pushed the tournament-winning RBI across the plate with a hard single to the right side. The girls were tough on defense and were relentless on the basepaths.
This is our second championship this year. The girls also took first place at the rain-shortened Kerwin Classic in Garden City.
