Each team operates independently in terms of how much it costs to play. The price range for playing is between $900-1200 per year. This price typically includes tournament fees, practice space, uniforms, helmets, bags, and sometimes outside-hitting instruction. 1/3 of payment is typically due at registration, in November and January.

Each team selects how long their season will be and how many games they play in a year. It’s recommended at the developmental level (8U-10U) teams play no less than 20 games in a year. This number can help ensure skill growth and improvement throughout the season. Older teams (12U and up) play between 60-80 games per year.

Because each team operates independently, this question is best answered by the coach. Some coaches keep tournaments local (an hour drive or less) and some have destination tournaments within the state or outside of Michigan. Some teams choose to participate in a local indoor league during the winter.

Your player is on a team based on her age on December 31st.

Tryouts for the upcoming year are typically held in July and August. Check the website or Facebook page for upcoming dates and times. Private tryouts are also available with specific teams by checking their Team page.

Teams typically practice 2 times a week outdoors in Dexter as long as weather permits. Winter practices take place in an indoor facility in Chelsea, Michigan. For specific practice days and times, please reach out to the coach.

A copy of the player’s birth certificate, signed player commitment agreement, completed medical release form, signed parent commitment & code of conduct agreement.

At this time, player fees are non-refundable.

Yes, teams and players are encouraged to fundraise. Or typical fundraisers include helping at Dexter Daze in August, a golf outing in the fall, a casino bus trip in the winter (adults only), and various raffles.
